Parts of a Cochlear Implant

 

 

1. Implant : It is the internal part which is

surgically implanted inside the inner ear.

 

2. Sound Processor : It is the external part.

It receives the sound, converts it into electrical

 pulses and transmits these into the inner implant

through a coil.
